Turquoise Beads and Cabochons

Turquoise literally means Turkish stone. The name developed because this sky-blue gem was brought to Europe via Turkey.

Genuine turquoise cabochons and turquoise beads
set in gold, combined with lapis lazuli, or with sapphires and rubies, or in the shape of large beads on a single strand necklace are perfect complements to spring.

As Judy Gordon, "Today" Style Editor, states in her online column, turquoise and coral are hot cool jewelry accessories for spring, either combined or separately:
Two of the most important fashion colors this season — coral and turquoise — just happen to be as equally essential as jewelry pieces,
emphasizes Gordon.
